Magic Bus India
The aim of the program is provide mentorships and a values-based education for the children via the element of sports and play!
In the initial phase of the program, we will be working with 30 children from the age of 6 to 12.
Our aim is to help all of them develop their potential and their dreams!
CatchPlus is an initiative by Dr. Lily Neo, Grassroots Advisor and MP for Tanjong Pagar GRC. CATCH is an acronym for Children And Teen Community Hub.
The Centre aims to: Mentor children (aged between 7-16 years old) from low-income families living in Jalan Kukoh, to give them a head start in life and fulfill their potential, and provide a safe, secure and friendly environment for the children to learn, play and socialize with other children, volunteers and mentors.
There are currently 109 children registered at the Centre, with an average of 30-40 children attending the Centre on a daily basis.
Magic Bus India is a 15 year-old NGO based in India that provides sports-for-development and mentorship program for underprivileged children and their families.
They also created an award-winning activity-based curriculum focused on tangible behavioral change with compelling impact amongst their beneficiaries.
Till today, Magic Bus directly serves the needs and helps to develop over 300000 children and youths in India and across the world.
They work with major Profession Sports Associations: NBA, IPL, Premier League and Asian Football Development Project (AFDP). They have also addressed the UN (NYC and Switzerland) and International Olympic Council (Lima, Peru) and the Indian Parliament on the importance of sports for development.
