The CatchPlus-Magic Bus Program is CatchPlus' first foray into partnership with the renowned Indian NGO, Magic Bus India, to provide a sports-for-development and mentorship program for low-income households in Jalan Kukoh.

Oversees the operations of the entire MB program

Become a Magic Bus Program Trainer!

Attend at least 2 out of 4 training sessions from 21 to 24 March 2014.

Commitment Level depends on the team you choose:

Curriculum Planning:
Attend a meeting convened based on the needs of the program.
Work with the trainers if there is a need to change the curriculum.

Impact Assessment:
Convene every time there is a need to study the program impact on the participants.

Volunteer Management:
Convene every time there is a need to recruit more volunteers.
Attend monthly volunteer meeting with the mentors to review their volunteering experience.

Mentors

Conduct all MB Sports Activities Session with the children.

Mentors 3 to 5 children for each session.

Become a Magic Bus Program Trainer.

Commitment Level:

Attend training session conducted by Magic Bus Master Trainers tentatively from 21 to 24 March 2014.
(If unable to commit for these dates, the CYLs will conduct another training session for you but you must complete at least one training workshop.) -
40 sessions on Saturdays Each session takes around 4 hours. Schedule is flexible and concessions can be made to accommodate to the volunteers’ needs.

Overview of training schedule is as such:
March 21, Friday, 3 to 8pm
March 22, Saturday, 9am to 4pm
March 23, Sunday, 9am to 4pm
All volunteers are strongly urged to attend this upcoming training by the Magic Bus team!
